1. Compressor Room Environmental Control
1.1 Waterproofing and Leak Prevention
Inspect the roof and the sealing of doors and windows to prevent water ingress.
Install waterproof covers or rain shelters as needed.
Lay moisture-proof mats on the floor and ensure proper drainage in floor trenches.
1.2 Ventilation and Dehumidification
Install exhaust fans or dehumidifiers to maintain humidity below 60%.
Low-lying workshops should be equipped with proper flood protection systems.
1.3 Equipment Isolation
For outdoor units, reinforce the base of the air receiver tank to prevent tipping due to strong winds.
Cover idle machines with moisture-proof covers for long-term protection.
2. Enhanced Drainage System
2.1 Automatic Draining
Install electronic drain valves to periodically discharge accumulated water from the air receiver and pipelines, preventing clogging and corrosion.
2.2 Sloped Piping Design
Ensure that compressed air pipelines are sloped toward the drainage outlet to avoid water stagnation.
3. Core Component Protection
3.1 Lubrication System – Anti-Emulsification
Daily Oil Inspection: Check for oil cloudiness or emulsification. Replace immediately if abnormal. Use high anti-emulsification synthetic lubricants (e.g., ISO VG 46).
Oil Level Monitoring: If oil level rises unusually (possibly due to condensation), shut down the compressor, wait 4 hours, then open the drain valve to discharge water.
Heating to Dehumidify: Reduce cooling area or increase load to raise the unit temperature (>70°C recommended), promoting internal moisture evaporation.
3.2 Electrical Components – Moisture and Short Circuit Prevention
Control Cabinet Protection: Place desiccants or heaters inside cabinets to keep them dry. Inspect terminal insulation; wrap damaged wires with insulating tape.
Waterproof Devices: Install waterproof covers on outdoor equipment. Disconnect power and cover electrical boxes during heavy rain.
Grounding Check: Ensure grounding resistance is ≤4Ω to prevent lightning damage.
4. Emergency Response
4.1 Rescue Procedures for Water-Ingressed Equipment
Main Unit: Remove the intake valve and clean debris → use diesel to rinse rotors if only slightly flooded → re-lubricate with oil.
Motor: Disassemble end cover to clean dirt → pre-dry at 50–70°C for 8–14 hours → dry at 80–100°C for 1 hour → ensure insulation resistance ≥5MΩ.
Inverter: Wipe circuit board with alcohol → dry with hot air → let stand and test for at least 30 minutes.
Consumables Replacement: After flooding, filters (air/oil/separator) and lubricants must be replaced. Clean any residue from the oil tank.
5. Smart Monitoring and Early Warning System
Install temperature & humidity sensors and pressure transmitters to send real-time alerts (e.g., excessive humidity, drainage failure).
Analyze operation trends and automatically generate maintenance plans (e.g., filter replacement reminders, optimized drainage cycles).
