Air Compressor Used in Laboratory

CHANUN Air Compressor
Air Compression Process
• Intake Stage: External air enters through the top intake port. Driven by a short-stroke crankshaft, the orbiting scroll plate moves eccentrically counterclockwise around the center of the fixed scroll plate, forming continuous intake chambers.
• Compression Stage: During rotation, the volume of the air chamber gradually decreases. The gas is progressively compressed without pulsation and ultimately pushed toward the central high-pressure zone.
• Discharge Stage: The compressed air is discharged through the central outlet. An integrated check valve prevents backflow, ensuring stable operation.
Advantages
• High Efficiency and Energy Saving: The scroll compressor adopts scroll compression technology. The relative motion of the orbiting and fixed scroll plates creates continuously changing sealed volumes to compress the gas. This design reduces energy loss, improves efficiency, and lowers power consumption for the same compression task.
• Low Noise and Low Vibration: With fewer moving parts and smoother operation, the scroll compressor produces significantly less noise and vibration. This not only improves the working environment and reduces the impact on surrounding areas but also extends the equipment’s service life.
• Simple Structure, Easy Maintenance: The scroll compressor has a relatively simple structure with fewer components. Maintenance mainly focuses on checking and replacing the air filter element and other few parts. Its extended maintenance cycle saves considerable time and cost.
• Excellent Environmental Performance: The scroll compressor operates oil-free, avoiding oil contamination of equipment and products. Its exhaust contains no oil mist or other pollutants, contributing to environmental protection.
Applications of Scroll Compressors
The versatility of scroll compressors makes them indispensable in various industries. Key application areas include:
• Manufacturing: Widely used in factories to supply compressed air for pneumatic tools, automation systems, and other processes.
• Food and Beverage Industry: Oil-free operation delivers clean, contamination-free air, ensuring product quality and safety.
• Transportation: Their compact size and high efficiency make scroll compressors ideal for transportation systems, such as railways, where compressed air is needed for braking systems, door operation, and air suspension systems.
